Ludwig, please text me back.

Ok! Here it is! My website.

Fabian gifted me this domain for my birthday years ago when I first joined the band. A very thoughtful and pragmatic gift. I didn’t really touch it until the pandemic came around and I was living in Black Mountain, North Carolina, bored out of my mind and needing to make money. I started collecting cool thrifted goods and making art to sell on here - and then never got the balls to even announce that this place existed. Then I moved about eight times and either used, lost or gave away most of the inventory.

Now it’s six years later, and Tony and I recently got word that we have to move out of the super-cute, 100-year-old Spanish-style duplex we’ve been living in out here in Glendale. Terrible news. Tony’s been here for nine years and I’ve been out here for two. He’s leaving for tour with Bikini Trill in five days (!!!), so we’ve been driving all over LA looking at apartments and trying to find the right place before he leaves. I think we’ve found the one, and we should know later today!

It’s a ’70s-style townhouse with cool brick floors and beamed ceilings. It’s the only place we’ve seen that has charm and all the practical stuff we’re looking for - most importantly, in-unit laundry. Scrambling to find quarters so I can wash my clothes the night before leaving for tour for a month is not it, brother.

LUDWIG is the name of the property manager who is supposed to be texting us to let us know whether we got the place, and Tony has all but paced a hole in the floor. We’ve been staying up at night talking about where the coffee station would go, which guitars we would hang on which walls, and how excited Winnie will be to have a balcony she can “sunpig” on unsupervised for the first time ever. So everyone keep your fingers crossed.

Regardless of whether we get this place or not, I am about to be pretty much back in the same position I was in when I started this project: broke and bored. This time it’s from move-in costs and having two months off at the exact same time Tony is out on tour.
I figure this is the perfect time to stop overthinking and blast this website into the world.

If you’ve read this far, thanks for indulging me and my bullshit. I’m hoping to make this a place where I can share more of my personal life with you, make some art, share vintage goods and merch, and keep you up to date on my solo shows and upcoming music.

The battle to get out of my own way continues! Stay tuned.

Oh - and if any of you know a property manager in Toluca Lake by the name of Ludwig, tell that man to text me back.
